How much do the live classes cost?

Classes are by donation. The suggested minimum donation is €10.

CLASS STYLES & LEVEL

Classes are 60-minute alignment informed Hatha & Vinyasa based. I offer options for all levels of students in my classes, including absolute beginners.

Breathing, stretching, strengthening, mindfulness, and deep relaxation are always included.

NOTE: On Thursdays, we will practice Restorative Yoga.

Restorative Yoga is a deep relaxation practice that nourishes your nervous and immune systems. This practice is about releasing deeply held tension within your body, mind, and emotions.

Restorative Yoga perfectly complements and strengthens your other athletic endeavors. For example, it provides benefits to sports like running, tennis, or golf. It also supports you if you want to advance your other physical Yoga practices, such as Vinyasa or Ashtanga, because it greatly strengthens your nervous system and concentration skills. 

How do online classes work?

Classes are live-streamed via Zoom.

When you sign up for the class, a ZOOM ACCESS LINK will be emailed to you 15 minutes before the scheduled class starts.

If you can’t take the class at the scheduled time—don’t worry!

After the live class, you’ll receive a replay link & have access to that class for 24 hours.

Please note – registration for class CLOSES 15 minutes before the class starts.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR CLASS

Bring yourself and a yoga mat. A blanket or towel is nice to cover yourself during deep relaxation.

If you have blocks, bring them too. If you don’t have blocks, keep a small stack of books nearby. Props may come in handy but are not necessary.

NOTE for Thursday Restorative Class: You will need a yoga mat, a stack of books, a bed pillow (or bolster), and a blanket or large towel.

Have your laptop or phone loaded with the Zoom app and you’re all set!

ABOUT JEN

I’m an advanced certified Yoga & Meditation teacher, Reiki Master Healer, and doTERRA Wellness Advocate. I’ve been practicing yoga since 2001 and teaching since 2008. My classes are streamed from my home in Florence, Italy.

I enjoy taking the classes live and even if I’m pretty quiet I like that people chat briefly at the beginning and end of class. The classes are also always well-sequenced and I like that they are often different with different intentions. ~ G

I very much enjoy Jen’s calm and intentional teaching style of purposeful direction on movement and her use of the Sanskrit name of poses. She is fluid in postures and transitions, so even if you’re not familiar with Sanskrit or a specific pose, you can easily follow along. I find that my practice is greatly influenced by a teacher’s verbal state of being – if there’s too much detailed instruction or simply too much chatter, it is difficult to focus on your own practice. Jen is masterful at breaking down the virtual distance barrier by creating a calm, mindful atmosphere that brings the class into your own presence and space. ~ J
